Assalam o alaikum

im starting a thread of "candle making" nd every week i wil make a thread on different homemade decorative ideas.now from this wednesday im starting candle making classes.i hope u like it.nd yeah feel free to give any suggestion.
thread wil be closed on Coming wednesday !!

You Will Need

01.Jelly Wax
02.Colour Discs
03.Wicks and Tabs
04.Old Saucepan
05.Stainless steel spoon

Method:

Over a very low heat, melt jelly wax like butter. Once melted, add 1-2 shavings of colour (use potato peeler). Stir with stainless steel spoon until combined.

Turn heat off when melted. Allow to cool slightly.

Pour into wicked containers. Allow to set.

To wick containers, cut wick, measure length holding next to container, allow 2-4cm extra. Thread thru tab, crimp tab with pliers. Place in container, place skewer along top of container, wrap extra length around.

If you have too many bubbles when jelly has set, you can place in oven on the lowest setting to remelt and set. 1-3hrs. Keep on eye on it, once it has remelted, turn off and leave in oven to cool.

Fragrance can be added to your candles, at the same stage the colour is, BUT they must be Gel Wax Safe,
