Export of Pakistan
Pakistan is a rapidly developing country. The economic condition of Pakistan has evolved from being Agricultural Industry dependent to a diverse industry country. Manufacturing and other industries have helped improve the economic condition of Pakistan.
Pakistan is known to be the largest producer and supplier of agricultural products according to the 2005 Food and Agriculture Organization. Export in Pakistan registered high $20.62 Billion sales combining all major export products.
While Pakistan has been growing in economic condition for the past several years, it was affected by the Global Economic Crisis of 2008.
Just the same, export in Pakistan is contributory to the growth that is continuously being recorded and making the country stronger than many years ago.
Products being exported by Pakistan
Because of the majority of arable land and the world’s largest irrigation built in Pakistan, agriculture products are exported from Pakistan to many parts of the world. Of course, exports in Pakistan are not limited to farm products but to other products manufactured by hard working Pakistanis and artists as well.
Fish and Fishery Products
Fish is another important product in Pakistan. It is one of the largest contributors to Pakistan Exports. As in fact, from July 2002 to May 2003 alone, fish and fishery products export amounted to as much as US$117 Million. This has since continued to perform well even during global economic crisis. Pakistan has major fisheries that produce the fish requirements of Pakistan and the countries where Pakistan exports its products.
Milk
Milk is another important by-product of the Pakistan livestock market. Pakistan produces 29.5 million tons of milk, which makes it the fifth largest milk producing countries in the world.
Large Pakistan Markets
Pakistan is likewise the largest Camel market in Asia.
It is the second largest Apricot and Ghee market worldwide.
Other major product contributors to the export industry are Cotton and Onion together with Milk.
Food and agricultural products are major export contributors in Pakistan; while the export industry has been growing, it is slightly affected by the global economic crisis.
Just the same, because Pakistanis are hard working individuals, the agricultural business have continuously being improved. Additionally, the manufacturing industries and other industries like textile and leather are large contributors to the export industry of Pakistan as well.

This may be minimal as compared to previous years where economic growth of Pakistan has reached as much as 28%, but amidst global crisis, growth of 4.7% is still significant.
As mentioned, export has reached 20.62 Billion US Dollars, which contributed heavily to the 4.7% economic growth of the country.
Finally, because of the creativity and hard working nature of Pakistanis, other industries may not be heavily marketed but painting, hand carved furniture and even hand woven carpets of Pakistan are being sold outside of the country. Export in Pakistan is therefore very important in this country.
