Mauj Jamshedpuri –
Mauj Jamshedpuri is an Indian poet from kolkata. He is a talented new generation poet who has developed a new style of shayri which portrays the raw imagination. Philosophy which was the fundamental of shayri has been complimented with use of vivrant imagination.
His poetry primarily talks about irony of life and love with versatile subjects. His Ghazals “Chaand utar kar aa jaye shishe mein aur jaam ho jaye…..Teri surat si har gali mein aaj ek shaam ho jaye “ and “Rehnuma hoti nahi hai koi bhi zaamane ke paas….Kya milega ghar tujhe kisi viraane ke paas” are popular in its own way.
He published his first Ghazal in 2001, named “Aaina-e-Ghazal” reflecting the irony of life and love in different forms. He has also performed many live Mussaira in All India Radio and ETV Urdu.He is an ardent follower of eminent poet "Nida Fazli" and often his verses shows style and thoughts of Fazli.
He became popular with the title song in “Tarannum” in SAB TV. The ghazal “Aaksar logoen ko yeh hadsaa hota hai....Aajnabi sa jab khud se saamna hota hai..” written by Mauj touched millions of hearts.
He is engineer by profession and also an active member of Progressive Writers' Association.
